(This is a canon, basically in the Avatar universe without the existence of Aang or the Fire Nation War. Which means the Air Nomads and Sky Bison still exist!
If you have watched Avatar, you can make a post. If you haven't seen Avatar, use [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.])

The 4 Nations have coexisted in harmony for generations.
The Air Nomads
Water Tribes
Fire Nation
Earth Kingdom

Until Now.

Just days after the young Fire Bending Avatar, Tao, goes missing on his way to Omashu to master Earthbending, the Earth King is assassinated within the Royal Palace!

In the chaos of the King's death, the Dai Li have taken full control of the Earth Kingdom.

A month later a man known as the Grey King, with control over the four elements and a legion of Earthbenders, assaults Ba Sing Se with zero resistance.

With promises of Security and Prosperity, the Grey King orders the Dai Li to stand down as the leaders of the Earth Kingdom.
The Dai Li, and with them all of the Earth Kingdom, surrender to his Rule.

With the Avatar missing, many people look to the Grey King for guidance.
But what are the Grey King and his army's true goals?

(You can be any bender, but no one can be a master, YET. No Bending a mountain, or creating tidal waves, but by the end of the RP, hell yes. There is the option of not being a Bender, this gives you access to being an expert(not master but getting there) at something, like a form of Martial Arts, or Sword-fighting or, hell, being a Mechanist.)

Airbending is the aerokinetic ability to control and manipulate currents of air. The peaceful Air Nomads utilized this type of bending in their everyday lives. Air is the element of freedom, and is notable for being almost entirely defensive, however it is reputed to be the most dynamic of the four bending arts. Airbenders can overwhelm many opponents at once with large and powerful attacks that could prove fatal... Their Season is Fall.

Waterbending is the hydrokinetic ability to control water, as well as all its many forms (Ice, Vapor). The people of the Water Tribe utilize this type of bending. Water is the element of change. The moon is the source of power in waterbending, and the first waterbenders learned from the moon by observing how the moon pushed and pulled the tides. (Which means Water Benders are strongest at night, under a full moon.) The fighting style of Waterbending is mostly flowing and graceful; acting in concert with their environment. They let their defense become their offense, turning their opponents own forces against them. Their Season is Winter.

Earthbending is the geokinetic ability to manipulate earth and rock, in all its various forms. It is used by people of the Earth Kingdom. Earth is the element of substance, making Earthbenders and their people in general proud, persistent and enduring. The key to Earthbending is neutral jing, which involves waiting and listening for the right moment to strike, and when that moment comes, acting decisively. In other words, Earthbenders generally endure their enemies' attacks until the right opportunity to counterattack reveals itself, then strike with unyielding force. Their Season is Spring.

Firebending is one of the four elemental Bending Arts, which utilizes the pyrokinetic ability to create and control fire. The people of the Fire Nation practice this type of bending. Fire is the element of power, overpowering force tempered by unflinching will to accomplish tasks and desires. Firebenders draw their powers from the sun and other solar objects. (Which means Fire Benders are at their peak during the day, at High Noon.) Firebending is notable for its intensive attacking style, and general lack of adequate defense moves, although some notable Firebenders can create defensive moves, such as Fire Walls and countering other Fire benders' attacks. Their Season is Summer.

As a side-effect, I was curious to see who wanted to pick this back up? Razz
