So i just went and saw Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

It was ridiculously funny. It basically made you feel like every so ofter you'd shift from a movie into a video game

i highly recommend it to anyone who can watch a stupid movie and laugh!

I dunno any movies to recommend, though Step Up 3D seems to be awesome. And the Expendables.

I hate the Twilight movies. I can probably list a helluva lot reasons why I hate it. Not that I didn't enjoy the book, it's just the overall effect in general.

I liked the first book of twilight.
I read it 4 years ago, that right, before the unholy cult it's now become.

Book movies generally dont turn out good.
An exception is Lord of the Rings (owner of a blueray box set ^_^)

True that. The ungodly cult thing that we now call the Twilight fans are now an abomination. Damn, I don't think the girls watch the movie for plot or anything, they just watch it to see Taylor and Robert drool over Kirsten. Damn.

Movies to recommend... I still love the old Star Wars movies. 4-6.

Star Wars is so kickass, but i wish they would remaster the episode 1, the animation technology has gone through a major change by the time episode 3 came out, i dont think they hold the same cohesion 4 5 and 6 have...

Yeah... It's more about the effects and the CGI instead of the acting and the story like the old days...

I don't really have any movies to reccommend, but there are some things I want to say.

Now I've heard of Avatar: The Last Airbender the Movie, and a lot of people said it absolutely SUCKED...
The series on Nicklodeon itself was good by itself, no wait, it was INCREDIBLE, but the movie, as most have told me, was horrible...

I myself am not a Twilight fanatic like most people are, in fact I've never read the books themselves, but I knew the whole thing had gone far off once I started hearing of ' Team Edward' vs. 'Team Jacob'

Lord of the Rings has to be one of the best book series-based movies ever made. Period. My dad owns pretty much the whole series.

Star Wars is awesome as it ever has been, even though I'm not an avid fan of it, it's still very interesting to watch.

And I agree with Bill on that statement, movies these days focus way too much on the CGI effects and other things to make the movie SEEM good and don't put enough effort into the acting and story that actually MAKE the movie good, that's probably why The Last Airbender the Movie fell right into the toilet of the movie critics.

well, THAT, and it took snippets of the story and kept it, but made the bending SO Weak!

the acting for the last airbender was decent not good but decent the problem with it was that it vered at some points away from the story changed things that shouldn't have been changed and locations taken out and worst of it all ang was just to serious he wasn't fun loveing crazy monk kid we have all come to love.

Yeah, they sucked the life out of most of the character's personalities, that's why the animated series was so great. It's amazing how even the best book or series can easily be butchered by someone making a movie of it, of course that's not always the case, but with The Last Airbender, a lot of fans are wondering what the director was on when he was making it. Well at least it wasn't a total movie tragedy like Battlefield Earth or whatever that abomination was called...

Nah... Movies is an art form as well. It's ok to be serious about it. I'm not a particularly high-standards kinda guy when it comes to movies, in fact, movies like Disaster Movie, Epic Movie and something like that made me laugh, a little, after I've decided that the movie sucked.

For a lot of movies, there's just no excuse. DRAGON BALL IS THE BEST DAMN EXAMPLE!!!!!

rofl still haven't seen the dragon ball movie but I know at the shere length of the series that they have to cut alot of stuff out and I don't think they start goku out as a kid.

Trust me, it's not worth making your eyes bleed, watching that movie. It should be burnt, smashed and then salted.

A movie I thoroughly recommend is "The Taking of Pelham 123". John Travolta and Denzel Washington make a good team in this movie.

I was offended by how he tried to resell such an awesome series.

Making a live-action movie of an animated series is definitely not a match meant to be in the Last Airbender movie's case...
And I've never actually seen Dragon Ball, so I've nothing to say on the matter.
I also recently saw the new movie Vampires Suck, a parody of the Twilight movies. It was pretty decent, though the content was a bit over the 'PG-13' rating it claimed to have, and there were little kids in the theater.
Some of the parts were pretty funny, some were 'WTF moments' and of course the few references to Canadians and Kardashians. The actor who played Edward Sullen (not Cullen) looked almost EXACTLY like Robert Pattinson, I swear!

If you're finding blood-drained bodies and hear about flesh-eating people, who's to blame? CANADIANS!! ( I was a bit offended by that bit, some of my best friends are Canadians! >.< )

When a vampire's head smashes through the back window of your car, who do you blame? KARDASHIANS!! ( I don't really watch the Kardashians TV series, so, no comment... )

I still havent seen Vampires Suck, i want to though, i'm not impressed by the twilight series in movie form... and for any who HAVE read them, i loath the 4th book.

Muahaha. True. There's a lot of clues, but I just didn't connect the dots because I was just relaxing and watching the movie. If I were to, say, more attentive to detail, I would've noticed, but I didn't. And it's still a great movie!

Love the fight scenes where it's so seamless.

The characters, the music, and unfortunately i loved Scar, the bad guy =P

God, I loved the old Disney movies sooo much, one of my definite faves had to be Pocahontas. It's a shame Disney doesn't make movies like they used to anymore... Instead it's all about Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.
Speaking of which, in Vampires Suck, Edward was called a Jonas Brother, ha!! XP

Lak when you see the movie just think hazmat suit its a awsome movie I have no ilking in seeing the twilite movies caus I think they would suck though the books probably would be diffrent but the fact that she degrades vampires by makeing them sparkle in the daylight ruins any urg to watch or read the series.

I've never seen Princess & The Frog, so, no comment...

I saw Vampires Suck, I really did like it And, lol Dark, we Canadians take it all in stride Pretty much everyone in the theatre - all of about 15 ppl or less - laughed

I encourage those that like twisty, semi-confusing movies that don't come together until the very end to check out some Guy Ritchie films, such as:
Snatch
The Rock 'n' Rolla
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
These are the greatest I love em soo much
Also:
Resevoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
The new films kinda suck, to me, so I stick with the 80s and 90s.
