Wrath of the Hunter

The monster bares its teeth

lets out a mangles roar

It thrashes down beneath

Its hellish demon door



It breaks loose and it runs

To the villagers it smites

They try to fight with guns

But are felled by its bites



The soldiers come to fight

They do not pierce its armor

They tremble in its might

But now they are no more



Next come the cannons

The catapults, the guns

It sounds like Armageddon

With explosions in the sun



Yet all the men are lost

And the demon is still there

It approaches the cross

It hesitates, but dares



It grabs it with its hand

And it clenches its fist

It scorches it with a brand

And out comes a strange mist



An angel appears

Heavenly with might

It blinds the great demon

And fills it with fright



The demon struggles

The angel strikes

Its face becomes mangled

It vanishes in the night.
