Pathfinder (Dungeons and Dragons, essentially) Is a dice rolling tabletop RPG. Since we're creative people, hopefully we wont need a table. Smile

To start, a player character (PC, that's you) will need to build himself a character sheet. Here are the fields every character sheet has...

II recommend either printing and filling out manually, copying these fields down on paper, or copying these onto a document.

There are a lot of rules but, in Pathfinder, it's a "learn as you go" process. Smile

O.o as non-tabletop gamer, this is a little foreign of a concept for me. I'm more than up for joining this, but are there any ways to dumb this down a little bit?

I have an idea, could we possibly try doing it with a more Rpg-y type system of character building? For example:

-Name: Thrane Krastak
-Race: Snow Elf (Orc, Dwarf, Dark Elf, Snow Elf, High Elf, Human, Molepeople (lol), etc. Whatever race you'd want to be)
-Height: 6'2"
-Weight: 195 lbs
-Age: 20
-Skin Color: White (White, Green, Tan, Orange, etc. Whatever)
-Hair Color: White (etc.)
-Horns: None (Y/N) (What they look like if character has them)
-Eye Color: Gold (etc.)
-Class: Warrior (Archer, Rogue. Advanced classes can be picked at level 10)
- Starting Ability: Battle Cry: sends opponents running once a day (your character will gain more as he levels)

Starting Attributes: (You'll be given 25 points to begin with, and get 2/3 more each level up)
-Strength: 6
-Dexterity: 2
-Magic: 2
-Will: 5
-Constitution: 4
-Cunning: 2
-Charisma: 4

Starting Gear: (Must be abysmal, only 1 piece can give any positive attributes)
-Head: None
-Cape/Cloak: Tattered Scarf
-Shoulders: Worn Leather Pauldrons
-Chest: Linen Shirt
-Arms: Wool Armwraps
-Hands: Old Leather Gloves
-Ring: Ring of Inheritance (+1 Strength)
-Legs: Cotton Pants
-Feet: Worn Leather Boots
-Primary Hand: Notched Iron Sword (2-3 dps)
-Offhand: Battered Scout Shield (3 Def)

Origin: Thrane's chantry had been ravaged when he was a small child, and he grew up with travelling Paladins and Monks looking for a new home. Now an adult, he looks for adventure and purpose in this world.

So maybe something like this? Or would you rather have this Pathfinder rp stay the way you designed it and this one gets moved to a new rp?
