Who would be up for a Star Wars RP?

I'm torn between doing an Old Republic or an AV(after Vader) story.

hah before kotor way more flexible

you know i'm game for one. hm....... We could do an AV one, or an AK (after Krayt), which is the farthest into the future the star wars stories go

I dont too much about Krayt... But i like the idea of old republic, do an RP before TOR comes out

well then we could actuly do it based on like before the truse was signed between republic and the sith empire and use the characters that we are going to use as our main characters.

I'm fine either way, but Before KotOR is much more flexible and easier to RP, as opposed to AK (Krayt), where we need to check for historical facts or somesuch.

I've been doing my research on the players in The Old Republic.
Here's what i'm thinking.

Star Wars: Tales of the Old Republic
The war has just begun.

The Republic and the Jedi Order, after signing the treaty, have agreed the Sith MUST be stopped before the war grows stronger.
So the jedi start digging through the records that survived the Sith assault to find a solution...

Meanwhile, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and the Sith, along with the latest [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and his loyal Mandalorians, have chosen a young champion to scour the galaxy for a "Super Weapon", mentioned in a Holocron record Darth Malgus stole from Coruscant during the Sacking!

The Jedi eventually find that the record they were looking for was stolen. With too few Jedi masters to spare, the Republic and Jedi send a champion (or two) to gather a team to retrieve the Holocron, and find a way to stop the war.

(Maybe)The champion of the Sith, however, gets betrayed by the team Darth Malgus hand-picked. Left to die, the Sith does what any good Sith does.
Plots revenge.(Just a thought, that way we can have some diversity in the group, a scoundrel, a jedi and a betrayed sith )

Weapon look: 12 inch long ending with a 5 inch wide cannon-like barrel, laser scope mounted on its red rail frame. It looks like a red-hot pistol with a fat silencer. It has three settings, which changes the mass of the plasma round. Low: Could blow a fist sized hole through a person's chest, High: Could punch a hole through a low-grade blast door, and Ship Destroyer. Mac has never had to use the Ship Destroyer, although he'd like to...
Weapon 2 look: A shortsword that looks like a combination of a Blaster's grip and a ryyk blade. When Mac makes contact with the edge, a blaster bolt is sent through the tip to the target. With enough finesse, Mac can slice clean through a wrist like a lightsaber, but the energy cell is limited to 30 contacts before shutting down. Abilities: As a Zeltron, Mac can feel the emotions of people nearby, and he can project his own emotions into people. He can also produce a pheromone from his skin, giving him a Spicy-Sweet aroma that causes the opposite sex to be ecstatic and enraptured, great for getting info from dumb girls. Mac's emotion reading skills also give him a subtle edge in a fight.
Armor: Robe-like Oriental Clothing with a black skintight suit of a special blaster-resistant weave hidden underneath.
Description: Attractive, keeps his hair long. Mac is in excellent physically shape. He's arrogant, a thrill-seeker, slight womanizer,and loves to live and fight dangerously. If Mac isn't after some prized treasure, breaking the law, or getting people in or out of trouble, he's in a cantina showing off to girls how much he can drink.
History: Mac spent his early years on Zeltros, and when he got bored of the place, he set off to make his own thrills. He currently does shady work for anyone with a highstakes job.
Ship: The Spitfire; A [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] armed to the teeth with illegal modifications. To accompany the standard two laser cannon turrets at its sides, Mac installed two slimmed down Point-Defense laser cannon side by side under the cockpit.
Mac also took the time to install over a dozen smuggling compartments in the various passenger rooms and cargo hold.
The Spitfire was Mac's baby, and he kept it in great shape.

Armor: Specially modified armor for Jinn. Flexible but tough. Black in color.
Description: Jinn has lean muscles but he's not particularly strong. He is a stubborn, well-meaning but naive rich kid. He aspired to be the best shooter but gave up on that after a few years. After a close kidnapping, he trained himself in fighting and learned how to use the vibrosword. He usually gets his way, and doesn't take kindly to insults.
History: Jinn is the eldest son of the wealthy businessman Nirt Bordwin. He took no interest in his father's enterprises and seeks adventure, leaving the family business to his younger brother, Rinn. Jinn now travels around the galaxy with his faithful friend and bodyguard, Orthus Deavon, a Mandalorian.
Ship: A Firespray class 31. The Gorgon. Modified by Orthus and funded by Jinn, this ship is virtually armed with the best money can buy. Armed with proton torpedoes, quad lasers, blaster cannons and several other, hidden armaments. It's also equipped with highly illegal scanners and cloaking devices. The ship cost nearly ten million credits including modifications.

lol Bill your character isnt extremely different than mine... I suppose mine will be on the opposite side of yours?

Nah... I've always wanted to try out a noob-ish kinda guy. He's naive, not too strong but not too weak too. He's never been into battles, only fights and never shot at a person before.

Armor: Beskar' Gam
Description: Not many people have seen his face because he almost never takes his helmet off. His face carries the scar's of his first battle most of his face is burned and he is blind in his right eye. He purchased Beskar' Gam with2 years of saved credits from the Mando's who didn't fallow mandolore. He had it made to look like standard issue trooper armor.
History: Crimsons gained his name from acting like a alpha wolf whenever his squad got into combat. His squad has had the lowest casulity rate than any ofther squad in the republic. Crimson gained his wolf like instinct where his squad was almost elimenated there were only three survivors himself and his two friends Tarvin, and mulllon's who both transfered out of the squad. He joined the republic millitary at 18 with his friends and sufferd that fatefull battle at the age of 19 after words he was promoted to a gunny sargent and given command of the squad.

Crimson, the Mandalorians were the only ones to ever wear the Mandalorian armor at this time period... no one else had it at the time. Maybe try some armor that would better relate to a republic trooper?

mandos are of all races species any age or sex and beskar' gam is made from mado iron. With me saying that and probably makeing an ass od myself where did you read that no other persons besides mando's had beskar' gam during that time period dan?

...throughout all of star wars canon, only one person not of Mandalorian civilization is mentioned wearing Mandalorian Armor. Jodo Kast. He was killed by Boba Fett for being an imposter. Crimson, I know countless information about the Mandalorians, due to them being my favorite subject in that universe. Besides, at the time of the rp, the mandalorians were greatly feared by everyone in the galaxy, and i'm pretty sure that the republic, who was hateful enemies with the Mandalorians, would never let one of their soldiers don the signature armor of the Mandalorians. Plus, the Mandalorians would never let an outsider wear their armor. They would simply kill the perpetrator. Please, let's not make an argument out of this.

Crimson, you could just choose to be Mandalorian and on the sith side, i was hoping to have (or make) the Sith champion abandon the dark side by swearing revenge for their betrayal.
...That's a work in progress but it's an idea we wanna do this cannon really well.

im going to lose the beskar' gam because im the troper all the way and if a troper can get beskar gam in the old republic im going to type dans ear off

games are different than canon. perfect example, a dark sided revan in KOTOR. so anything's possible in video games that use non-canon material

up until a certain point of time dan good and evil revan were technicle both canon same with the exile though i dont know if she turned out evil or good

canon has it that she was good, and left to go find revan. revan was good, then bad, then got amnesia, then technically was good throughout the actual game. i agree he was evil for years, but the game had him canonically good. so i'm not disagreeing there

I loved Knights.
KotOR 2 was good, but i liked Zalbar and Mission and Jolee from the first one...

I absolutely loved HK47. He was a total badass.

So if it will just be Dan Bill Red and I, i'll make either a Sith or a Jedi depending on Dan.

Two notes though.
1. Opening post must make it clear if you are Jedi, Sith, or up for grabs for both sides. Mac is an "Up for grabs" character.
2. You can choose to be a champion if no one else has called dibs.
