I read Twilight before the big hype came out and i just gotta say... WHAT KIND OF FATHER LETS THEIR CHILD TURN INTO A VAMPIRE??? I mean come on! Shouldn't she have consulted with Charlie before she made the, "I want to be a vampire" decision? And how is it that she falls so deeply in love with him over the course of a month (i think) that when he leaves she can't bear to live? Its ridiculous.
With that said, I have been to see all three Twilight movies, and I think Eclipse is the best because it is the only one that actually adds character to the characters. I only watch them because there are werewolves. YAY WEREWOLVES!!
Breaking Dawn is not a good book, and making Jacob imprint with Renesmee (and who really names their kid that?) was a very harsh thing to do.
And what's with this whole 'break Breaking Dawn into two movies' thing thats going on?

Edward Sullen is awesome XD and I never really did get the whole 'Twilight fanatic craze' stuff, never read Twilight, never watched the movies (though Vampires Suck was a pretty good parody of it), though Harry Potter is definitely awesome, I should get back into reading the books
Speaking of comedy-horror movies, has anyone seen Shaun of the Dead before? I know it's an old movie, but it's still funny XD I watched clips of it on YouTube, my faves had to be when they were throwing records at the zombies and the one where that one zombie was coming down the hall groaning and they were making silly music effects

Lol, I watched Shaun of the Dead earlier this year. I thought it was a pretty good tie-waster :p I don't really have anything bad to say about it... It wasn't excellent, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. (By 'time-waster' I mean when you can't think of anything else to do XD) If I'd gone to see it in the theatre, though, I probably would have been disappointed that I'd spent $10 on that...

About your point Katie... I wouldn't talk to my dad about being a vampire :S If my boyfriend was gonna turn me, I'd go for it. I mean, that's kinda like sex, if you think about it, lol. Well, yeah, the way Jake did it was a bit messed up... But still. Vampires are supposed to be a secret, right? That was the primary rule, and Bella was going to be condemned by the Volturi for being human. Bella was also concerned about her father becoming a part of that mess.

The books were kinda good, but it started to get weird and convoluted after the first one. I figured out Jake was a werewolf the first time around. Anyways, the fans are the main reason why I hate Twilight. That, and the bad plot, bad character development and the stupid decisions that can't be made by normal teens.

yea the fan's of the twilight series is what gave me no interest in reading the books or watching the movies and sparkly vampires no that just left a bad taste in my mouth hearing that about the books. I may not like vampires but give them some dignity.

No normal teen would decide to commit themselves to one person for life... Especially if you'd only known them for like a month, as Kira pointed out :S Even after dating the same guy for months, I wouldn't say I'd spend eternity with him, and I like to think of myself as relatively sane. Bella is weird in the head.
And... I thought of this a few secs ago. Since vampires can't change, then why does Edward act older than 17? Teens don't have fully developed brains, which is why most of us are screwed up. So, technically,Eddie shouldn't be physically able to gain maturity or logic... :S I think someone should do her research before writing 4 novels...

Oh, and yes, the fans are retards They wrecked the entire series. Because the millions of fans brought critics with them in the tide of popularity, and when people love or hate books too much, I give up.

So basically, it sucked after the first book. Poor character development, poor plot and poor fans. The fans are mostly 16 year old girls fantasizing about this happening to them, when any person without that much hormones inside them would think twice before even visiting a house full of vampires.

I like pretty much most music, except Metal types. More of a Jazz, Classic, Acoustic kinda guy though.

I am astonished at how desperate girls are nowadays. I swear, if it's male and it moves, he's got someone dreaming about him. This has few exceptions. I will admit, I crush easily, but...look at the Bieber fans... It's crazy!!

I only really know one song of the Goo Goo Dolls, Iris, and heard a cover by my friend on Youtube (LOL) but I really couldn't hear his voice over the guitar. (maybe a good thing?? Haha)
As for my music taste, I like grungy stuff, so Muse doesn't fit in (being why I only like that one song). I prefer Disturbed, and have a new liking for a new band, Abandon All Ships.

I like any genre of music, punk, pop, soul, Christian, New Age, you name it. Rap music isn't my best interest, though I listen to a few choice tunes in that category, but only if the lyrics are decent and the beat is good.
Some of my fave bands/musicians include Casting Crowns, Epica, Three Days Grace, Sum 41, Disturbed, Skillet, Enya, Flyleaf, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Black Sabbath, and David Arkenstone (a New Age musician)

Also, don't laugh at me just cause I like Enya and David Arkenstone, I have a legitimate reason for that, their music is quite relaxing and is helpful if I've had an especially stressful day.
And Darkie likes listening to Christian music, because it's awesome in it's own way ^^

YES!!! WITHIN TEMPTATION I love that group.. by far my favorite.. first song I ever heard by them was Memories.. someone had it playing on their Zorpia site... my favorite by them now is tied between Angels and All I Need.

Atreyu I've never heard of, I've seen mentions of Billy Talent, but there are only two Billies I know (Billy Idol and Billy Joel), Rise Against sounds interesting though

Disturbed's new album, Asylum, is a bit different, too... Compared to The Sickness, at least.

I might listen to that song, I haven't heard many of the newer Linkin Park songs, Numb is still my top fave song from them, followed up by Breaking the Habit, What I've Done, and Bleed It Out. I don't have many songs by Disturbed, since I kinda got interested in them via my cousin (he listens to a lot of Metallica, Disturbed, The Used, that kind of stuff XP ).
I've also found a genre of music that is really interesting to me, Wiccan music, the only band I've heard that sings Wicca type music is Inkubus Sukkubus, I really like their song, Wytches (both versions of it), and a few others.
