| Agreed, Crim you're going too far ahead of yourself, it's best to save it until we get things fully sorted out. On another note, each class has a CRAPLOAD of moves at each level, so you'd have to choose which spells to prepare and what they do. This is hard for most, because you never know what kinds of situations you'll get into. For most 1st level characters, the DM recommends preparing 3 or 4 0-level spells and 2 first level spells. In the case of a cleric, they also get special spells depending on the deity they worship (ex.: a cleric of Bahamut gets the deity's granted ability Bahamut's Shield, which helps to absorb damage when invoked on the cleric themselves or a nearby ally, very useful if an ally or the cleric is about to die from a critical hit or the like). Remember, EVIL DEITY WORSHIPPING FOR PLAYER CHARACTERS IS NOT ALLOWED!!! It is reccommended that characters are Lawful Good, Good, or Unaligned, but if you want to worship an evil or chaotic evil deity, take it up with the DM. Also, there are skills to choose, such as Athletics, Endurance, Heal, Dungeoneering, etc. For some classes, some are more reccommended than others, such as a rogue is better with ranks in Stealth, Thievery, Athletics, etc. Also there is something called AC, which I forget what it does... Lak, help me out here >.< | |

| Hmmm... It's far too complicated, with too many rules and limitations which would be less fun than if I were to find some people with whole days to spend.
What if we shorten the lists and stuff so that it's much more simpler? Playing these things over the net seems so... messy.

| Dungeons and Dragons can get really messy really fast. If we are going to do D&D, it's going to be simplified until we are ready to dive into the mess.
The spells and abilities will get defined later, since that's going to take a very long time to sort through...
And to answer darkie's comment on AC, AC is the Armor Class. Your AC is what makes or breaks if you are hit. Dexterity, Armor, Natural armor, and deflection bonuses were what determined AC in older D&D, but 4.0 (the newest version of D&D) it's much more simple...
I dont know if 4.0 would be easy to do over the forums VS 3.5 (a more popular D&D, where just about every aspect we havent covered is different.)
In 3.5, it add a lot more variety to what you can do, but in 4.0 things are simplified, which can be good and bad... Idk.

| Do the simplified one, and then we'll get a feel of what we're dealing with. If we're all ok with it, then we can do another one which is related or unrelated to the first one. In all, let's just see how things pan out first. | |

| Lol... No offense Crim, but I can barely make sense of your sentences. It's not to say that you can't help, just that you should improve on your spelling and grammar first.
I'm offering my services should they be required.
